So you want to become successful? You need to know it’s very simple. Don’t get confused, simple doesn’t mean easy.
In order to be a great success you first need to believe in yourself, believe that you are capable of becoming successful. If you can’t tell that to yourself, how are you supposed to show that to other people.
What is your attitude like? Do you easily get put off if you fail? Do you let rejection restrict your future actions? The attitude you are looking for is a PMA, that stands for positive mental attitude. No matter what happens, remain positive, being anything but positive is really just a waste of time.
Your success is governed by the capacity you have to bounce back after an unsuccessful outcome. Remember Fail stands for first action in learning. See it as on opportunity to better yourself. Don’t rest till your good becomes better and your better becomes best.
Whatever it is that you want to achieve, you need to understand that it’s going to be hard work. After all if it was easy to become successful then everyone would be. Be committed to the task at hand, it’s not all sunshine and rainbows, there will be times that you don’t feel like doing the work, instead of thinking about the you at present, think about how the future you will be grateful for the hard work and dedication you put in today.
Make sure that you show up to do your task. Remember that showing up is 80% of the job. If you can assign the time each day, you will get closer to achieving your goal. A rookie spending 100 hours will accomplish more than a master spending 1 hour.
A football team with excellent players but no game plan will never beat a team of ammeters playing with a solid game plan. Thinking of England vs Iceland in the 2016 Euro Cup. Failing to plan is planning to fail. With a plan in play, you know what it is that you are going to be doing and you know when it is that you’re going to be doing it. This gives you a sense of direction and the ability to cross check your progress against your plans.
When you want to be successful, remember S A P C A P, this stands for:
Self Belief, Attitude, Perseverance, Commitment, Attendance, Planning
These are the 6 key fundamentals you need to get nailed. The rest will fall into place.
